Rock Colts Sell Well

Rock of Gibraltar produced two of the top five lots sold at the 2007 Magic Millions National Yearling Sale being conducted at the Gold Coast this week.His star performers were colts from Brown Eyed Girl and Fly The Flag that fetched $150,000 apiece and were knocked down to Graeme Rogerson and Steve Englebrecht respectively.
Both were bred and offered for sale by Gerry Harvey’s Baramul Stud, the first colt offered as Lot 2254, a half-brother to Group Two winner Halibery and the second as Lot 2308, a half-brother to this season’s smart juvenile Solo Flyer from the family of AJC Australian Derby winner Fiumicino.
Rock of Gibraltar has had a tremendous sales season in Australia this year capped by his $3million sale-topping colt at the Inglis Australian Easter Yearling Sale from L’On Vite.
