Grand Refer Captures Ontario County Stakes

Grand Refer (Grand Slam -- Val's Jazz by Kentucky Jazz) captured the Ontario County Stakes Sunday at Finger Lakes with a driving 3 1/4-length win. Grand Refer broke last, but quickly rushed to the front of the pack and maintained command in the 6-furlong test.
