Fast Deal Battles for Holiday Inaugural Stakes Win

Fast Deal (Grand Slam -- Catty, by Storm Cat) dug in gamely in the stretch to win the Holiday Inaugural Stakes at Turfway Park on Saturday. The four-year-old filly got away well and dueled through fast fractions, fighting off a challenge from Lady Belsara in the stretch to win the 6 furlong contest by a nose. It was the fifth career win for Fast Deal, who has earned over $237,000.
