Blue-Blooded Joburg Filly Wins Again

The Kevin Moses trained filly Jozi (3f Johannesburg x Twiglet, by Twig Moss) made it two wins from as many starts since transferring to Sydney, when she swept home to score a facile two length win in the Ratings 75 event for three year-olds over 1100 metres at Randwick on Wednesday.

Jozi is the tenth foal and seventh winner for Twiglet, a Group Two winner on the track who has built an even more impressive career at stud.

Retained to race by her breeder Mrs Catherine Remond, Jozi was foaled and raised at Willow Park and is a half-sister to multiple Group One winner and Hong Kong Horse of the Year Fairy King Prawn, as well as Group One winner and successful sire Easy Rocking, plus stakes-winner Crevette.

Jozi will no doubt be aimed towards Black Type races during the Sydney autumn carnival and is one of 18 winners in Australia this season for Johannesburg.
