Spectacular Tale Romps by 6 1/4 to Break Maiden

Spectacular Tale (Tale of the Cat -- Spectacular Day, by Carson City) broke her maiden with an impressive 6 1/4-length victory at Aqueduct on Wednesday. The three-year-old filly set a reasonable pace on the lead early, then drove on into the stretch and pulled away to easily capture the 6-furlong maiden special weight test.
