French Juvenile Winners for US Sires

Tale of the Cat and Fusaichi Pegasus featured at Chantilly in France on Thursday siring a juvenile debut winner each.

The Robert Collet trained filly Enchanting Muse (2f Fusaichi Pegasus x Moon Flower, by Sadler’s Wells) jumped well and was always in contention before shooting away to win the five and a half furlong contest by five lengths.

Purchased for $110,000 at the Keeneland September Yearling Sale, Enchanting Muse is a half-sister to the Group Two winner Fantastic Love being from Moon Flower, a half-sister to top class shuttle sire Last Tycoon.

Also successful on the same program was Randonneur (2c Tale of the Cat x Rolly Polly, by Mukaddamah), who ran fractionally faster time than the filly in scoring by three lengths for the Elie Lellouche stable.

A homebred for the Wildenstein family, Randonneur is from the former very good racemare Rolly Polly, a Group Two winner of 10 races.in Europe and America.
