Lion Heart Filly Tops Last MM Yearling Session

A cracking filly from the first Australian crop of Lion Heart provided the highlight on the last day of the MM National Yearling Sale on the Gold Coast when secured for $70,000 by Debbie Newham.

Offered for sale by Furlong Stud, the chestnut filly is the third foal of Under the Mattress, a full sister to stakes-placed Aqua Blessing from the family of North American Group One winners Key to the Moon and Gorgeous.

Lion Heart is doing a terrific job with his first runners in North America including stakes-winner Lyin’ Heart and five other winners at major US tracks.
