New Stakes-Winner for Giant

Giant’s Causeway posted a new stakes-winner when Apple Martini (3f Giant’s Causeway x Crafty Oak, by Crafty Prospector) saluted in the Purple Violet Stakes at Arlington on the weekend.

The Chris Block trained filly took the mile event on the all weather surface by three parts of a length in taking her overall record to three wins and two placings from 10 starts.

Bred and retained to race by Virginia H Tarra Trust, Apple Martini is a full sister to stakes-placed Cause She’s Crafty being from the Group Three winning Crafty Prospector mare Crafty Oak.

She is one of 44 stakes-winners worldwide for Giant’s Causeway, who is enjoying a great year with feature winners including Group One winner Heatseeeker.
