Impressive Debut Win for Flying Pegasus

Fusaichi Pegasus was represented by an eye-catching debut winner at Churchill Downs on Wednesday when Flying Pegasus (2c Fusaichi Pegasus x Lilly Capote, by Capote) led throughout to score easily.

Trained by Ralph Nicks for owner breeder James Spence, Flying Pegasus had been working impressively leading up to the race and ran right up to that form in kicking clear to win by two and a quarter lengths.

Flying Pegasus is a full brother to Group Two placed Mythical Pegasus being from the Group Three winning Capote mare Lilly Capote.
