Times Gone By a Debut Winner at Del Mar

Times Gone By (Giant's Causeway -- Happy Tune, by A.P. Indy) won his debut at Del Mar by 3/4 of a length on Saturday. The three-year-old colt, who sold for $1.9 million at Keeneland September as a yearling, was in second for much of the backstretch run in the 6 1/2-furlong race. Times Gone By then angled to the outside and drove past the leader in the homestretch for the win. Times Gone By was bred by Abbott Properties and is owned by B. Wayne Hughes.
