Fastnet Rock a Hot Favourite

Sportingbet Australia have framed a market for the Leading First Season Sire of 2008/2009 by individual Australian winners with Coolmore Stud’s Fastnet Rock installed a red hot favourite.

A dual Group One winning sprinter by champion sire Danehill (USA), Fastnet Rock is quoted at $1.35.

The leading freshman sire at the yearling sales earlier this year, Fastnet Rock had 93 babies sell at the major sales at an average of $258,500 with many going to leading Australian trainers where reports would indicate they are progressing as desired.

Leading US first season sire Lion Heart also has his first crop of Australian foals set to hit the tracks this season and looks a value bet at $17.00.
